I'm putting myself under a spell. The No-Date Spell. There's only one way to break it: being kissed by a woman or kissing a woman if she's clearly sending me signals.
1. I cannot ask women out. I must be asked out (unless she is clearly implying she wants to see me again).
2. I cannot get a girl's number, unless we're exchanging info and it's my turn to write her name.
3. If a girl asks for my number, I may give it to her, but if she texts me, I cannot put her number in my phone.
4. I cannot text a girl first unless 48 hours have passed since seeing her, and my tone in texts must be casual and non-flirty.
5. If a girl asks me out or heavily implies wanting to see me again, I can make plans with her but I must do my best to make it seem non-datey, i.e. "Come to my show and bring your friends!", "I'm going to my friend's party; wanna swing by?"
6. If a girl kisses me or gives me clear signals she wants me to kiss her, I may do so, at which point, the "spell" will be broken. Then I can ask her out on a date.
